This firm of Chartered Surveyors have an urgent vacancy for a Quality Manager to set up an Asbestos testing laboratory & gain UKAS accreditation.

The company currently provide a range of services for Local Authority Housing Departments / Housing Associations including Type 1 & 2 surveys; they are now seeking to bring sampling “in house” hence the need for an experienced candidate who can demonstrate specific experience of the following:

• Setting up an Asbestos testing laboratory

• Gaining (and maintaining) UKAS accreditation
• Experience of running asbestos testing laboratories & quality management procedures
• Staff management & supervision
• Extensive knowledge of / dealings with UKAS
